Here we do nothing but barbecue low and slow meats till they are tender and juicy. We prepare delicious sides to accompany your meal and we hand make sweet desserts to complete an amazing dining experience. We can cater for your events with various menu options that will suit you and your hungry guests.

Plus we do regular pop-ups with our food truck so you can turn up, order and eat there and then. Just follow our social media for all updates.

We vow to always serve up goodness. Our meats are smoked using locally sourced wood and our sides and desserts are made with fresh ingredients.

The Fire It Up Story

Originally from Manchester, England, Danny, (pitmaster/owner) came to New Zealand in 2012.

A love for entertaining and cooking for friends and a creative imagination combined together when he shared his enjoyment for cooking over charcoal. An oil drum BBQ was built and soon the air was filled with the sweet aroma of delicious food slowly grilling into the night.

More creativity and imagination followed when he decided to go many steps further and self-build a trailer mounted, reverse flow, offset smoker. Tender meats and flavourful sides were soon becoming a firm favourite for hungry guests.

The only option was to take this amazing idea and turn it into a fully fledged food truck venture that will feed great BBQ to the people of Auckland. And so was born Fire It Up Smoke and Grill Co.
